#blueinmyframe is a photographic series by Hunny Awatramani, developed over five years beginning at the age of 20. While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hunny discovered a creative refuge in photography—particularly through the recurring use of the color blue. Drawn to its emotional depth and tonal versatility, blue became a central motif in her work. For Hunny, it symbolized a wide spectrum of emotions, from tranquility to melancholy. Each frame was inspired by scenes from her daily life, which she would later reimagine and recreate in her home studio.
What started as a personal exploration evolved into a widely recognized body of work. The #blueinmyframe series gained significant traction on Instagram, attracting a community of over 30,000 tags who connected with the mood, narrative, and aesthetic consistency of her vision. Hunny lost all her hard drives and this data has be retrieved from Instagram archives from her previously known page @nosugainmycoffee (now @hunnyawatramani)
